Transparent PNG Stickers Explained (Why Format Matters)

What transparency means
PNG can store an alpha channel — pixels that are fully or partly see-through. That lets stickers sit on any chat background without a rectangle.
PNG vs JPG for stickers
JPG does not support transparency. Always export stickers as PNG (or WebP with alpha) if you need a cutout look.
How to export correctly

Checkerboards in editors
